Meet the Camelot Court Animal Clinic groomers

Brenda Cusachs

Brenda Cusachs

Brenda is one of the talented groomers at Camelot Court Animal Clinic, and provides 18 years of experience to clients and their pets. She joined the clinic's team in March 2005.

"My goal is to make my clients happy," Brenda says, "and at the same time make the pets beautiful."

Witnessing a pet's transformation is what she enjoys best in her role as groomer, as well as interacting with the clients. She brings a creative eye to her position, is detail-oriented and has a strong work ethic.

"The clientele truly appreciates the pampering of their pets. The clinic is first class as far as the doctors, staff and facilities for animal care."

At home, Brenda has a 6-year-old collie named Stevie, a 11-year-old collie named Kenzy and a 14-year-old sheltie named Frostee. Her love of animals extends beyond her time at Camelot Court Animal Clinic. She volunteers and is a foster parent with Kansas City Sheltie Rescue in addition to volunteering with the Pet Peace of Mind program at Kansas City Hospice. Her dog Stevie continues the goodwill, volunteering as a therapy dog with Pet Partners and Pets for Life.

As for free time, Brenda jokingly asks, "What's that?" She enjoys the time she spends volunteering with Sheltie Rescue and in the children's ministries at Vertical Church and Heartland Community Church. She also likes interior decorating, photography, scrapbooking, playing with her grandchildren and walking her dogs.
